Abhinav Mukund was so angry about this. He said, ” You let go of your main spinner to trust this new guy, and then you don’t play him in the first game. Even if he had a bad domestic season, you have to show faith! It’s like if your friend picks you for their football team and then doesn’t let you play. How rude is that?

The Team Balance is All Wrong

Another thing Abhinav Mukund pointed out was the balance of the team. In the first match, they played with seven batters and only four bowlers. That is a bad idea because if one bowler has a bad day, there is no one else to help. He said they “sacrificed” their find of last season, which was Digvesh Rathi, to play more batters. It’s like going to a war with lots of generals but no soldiers. You need the right mix to win the match.
